EVERGREEN
When we set out to design Evergreen, we started with a simple conviction: plants deserve center stage. Not as an afterthought or an embellishment, but as the beating heart of a place. That idea guided every decision—how could we create a system that doesn’t just hold greenery, but elevates it, celebrates it, and invites people to gather around it?
We envisioned a modular structure that could grow organically, much like the plants themselves. With just four core elements—Planter, Pot, Bench, and Table—Evergreen can shape everything from intimate green islands to bold architectural boundaries in public environments. The goal was to give landscape architects and urban planners a toolkit as flexible and imaginative as the spaces they dream up.
Materiality was equally important to us. We chose hot-dip galvanized steel for its uncompromising durability and lifetime resistance to rust, ensuring Evergreen remains as strong and enduring as the trees it supports. For the seating surfaces, bamboo felt like the natural choice—sustainable, warm to the touch, and graceful in how it weathers over time.
In the end, Evergreen is about honoring nature’s presence in our shared spaces. It’s about creating places where people can pause, connect, and feel grounded—surrounded by the quiet power of living things.
